And We Begin Again...

Went to the gym today.  Big statement.  My primary activities have been eating, drinking and sitting on my ass - all of which I am very, very good at - and none of them are done in a gym.  

So I start 2015 at nearly the same place I started 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, ...  and with the same list of new year's resolutions.  It's annoying.  And I'm pissed.  This is MY year.  

I walked into the gym today with my thoughts on losing that jiggly 20lbs.  Then I looked around the gym and it hit me.  The number on the scale isn't important.  What those lbs are made of is the important thing.  I don't want jiggly.  I want lean and fit. 

This is the year I'm signing up for a Half Marathon.  I'm signing Dave & I up for the 50 Mile Sweet Corn Challenge.  I'm going to do Yoga once a week for flexibility, swim to cross train and lift weights for strength and definition.   I have a plan - it's similar to the plan I wrote last year and the year before etc.   I may have not stuck with or executed my plan but it's a good plan.  And it's already done so it saves me the trouble of thinking up a new one.  It's all about movement in 2015.
