I don't know what it is about cleaning the house vs working out but they don't seem to happen on the same days. And, truthfully, not only did I not exercise ... I really didn't clean much either ... (smiley face).

50 minute walk in the hot hazy sun.
So here we are, 17 days from the end of this 90 day challenge. I haven't totaled my official minutes but it's obvious that I haven't averaged 60 minutes. The quitter in me doesn't really care. Practical me has a list of really good "not hitting my goal" reasons. My competitive side is somewhat disappointed. Evolving Me is searching for my next personal challenge. Quite honestly, these challenges are about consistency - something (nearly) every day; pushing myself to be a little healthier, a little wiser, a little better; to discuss, model and encourage healthy choices for my family. I just need a catchy little phrase for inspiration!

Walked with the girls. Walked with the dog. They all complain but have their moments of charm and wit. 90 minutes of walking then 75 minutes of cutting back the bushes, trees and plants that seem to be thriving in my front yard despite a lack of nutrients and water!
Kendall started a 10 day challenge of running and a few body weight exercises. I joined her on her first day ... now my muscles are shaking and I can't raise my water glass without tremors ...

After a three hour bike ride - this is pretty much how I spent the rest of the afternoon. We rode over 28 miles with friends who recently returned from a 200 mile/6 day bike tour of France. What a fantastic way to see another country! Though after today I wonder if I would actually be able to "see the sights" through the sweat pouring off my brow... I'd be willing to give it a try.
Next Sunday is the 50 Mile Sweet Corn bike ride. I'm pretty sure we gonna ride 25. Either way, it is a new experience, lunch is involved and we purchased rockin' Sweet Corn tank-tops as a memento!

Great workout - though I was stiff from the hilly 4 mile walk with D. Today I ran a mile, walked 1/4 and repeated 4 times then ran the last 1/4 mile home. A blazing 11 minute mile run/walk but it was good because 1) I did it! 2) I ran the each "end" 1/4 mile with energy and determination (instead of giving up like I've been known to do) and 3) Over 5 miles! Yea!
Official Minutes: 70 (well it really took 67 minutes but I'm adding 3 for math purposes...)
Walked with a friend. Mental, physical and spiritual! 😊
