I live a chubby lifestyle.  It's true!  After whatever rockin' workout I may or may not get in most days, I'm sedentary.  I sit - on the computer, on the sofa, at the kitchen table, at a friends', at a bar, at a volleyball match - I'm sitting.  And I'm happy to do it!

I eat well til about 4:00.  Then I start dinner.  I pour a glass or three of wine.  Eat my healthy dinner then snack on stupid stuff like pretzels, chips & cheese or chocolate.   I sit.  And I enjoy it.  

This is a classic example of Life GOALS and Life VALUES conflicting!   My GOAL is to lose 20 lbs, be leaner, be active.  My VALUE is to sit.   To be clear, I don't just sit.  I mean I do but I'm doing something at the same time; like reading the news to find out what scary shit our government has done in the last 24 hours, reading a book to escape from the reality of our country's scary shit, completing Sudoku (I rock!), doing a crossword (I suck!), scrolling thru Facebook to see which friends lean which political direction (and to see cute videos of cats & kids), occasionally blogging, and, my all time favorite: sitting, drinking wine and talking smart with friends.  

You get my point; other than the hour or two spent at the gym or outdoors exercising, I don't move much.  And I don't really mind.  

Huh, I may need to rethink my VALUES...
