Day 48 & 49

 Day 48:  Cardio Boxing - I have an endorphin crush on the instructor.  That class is really hard.  Casey told us a story about taking "it" to the edge.  I guess so you can throw up out of sight.  We had to do box jumps and frog jumps.  I seem to have lost (probably never had!) the ability to jump.  Nor do I have agility and speed.  I literally have to tell my brain to tell my muscles what to do - like "jump now!"  or "move your legs faster!" or "don't faint!".   I am really good at hitting the bag though!  And my planks were pretty steady.  I hope Casey was impressed cuz he sure couldn't have been impressed with my panting and snorting or the way my hair got static-y around the punching bags and stood straight up on my head.  Fantastic yet unattractive workout!
 
Day 49:  Maybe it was the coffee this morning but I got all excited about seeing that the Lacrosse team is volunteering at the Color Me Rad 5K Run in Akron on April 12.  The race will benefit the Ronald McDonald House renovations.  So I signed up for the race, set up a team called "Power of PPC", and sent a bunch of emails.  Dragged a couple friends into running with me.   Found a few eager volunteers to throw color bombs.  Brainstormed the t-shirts and headwear and all kinds of stuff that will both bring awareness to Power of PPC AND help the Ronald McDonald House AND possibly have a big party afterward ...   


Ufit2 - another killer workout where my brain had to tell my muscles what to do ... I guess my muscles aren't used to crawling anymore.  And FYI - alternating opposite arms and legs is surprisingly tricky.  Lots of fun!
