HA! Take that KG who I don't even actually know!!!
Don't ya just love social media. I spend more time with strangers and their stats than I do with actual live friends.
And Facebook! I live there! Presumably to get info for this blog - you can see how well that's working out. There was a post from a "friend" who lost her father the other day. It was really touching. It took me nearly 24 hours to figure out how I knew her. Oh sure that could just be my terrible memory and/or the fact that I met her in a large group who's primary focus was drinking. She's a lovely woman. But are we really "friends"?
I'm considering clearing out my FB "friends" for that same reason. (You three actual friends who read this blog should be safe - but just to be sure you may want to post a compliment or two in the comment section.) I'm friends with people I barely know and some of them I really don't even like. (Just kidding mom!) And then there are the people who creep. You know, people who read what the internet overshare-ers are doing but not sharing anything about themselves. Fucking voyeurs.
Well, consider yourselves safe for now. I'm too lazy to sort thru the 368 of you right now. But some day! Ha!!!
Day three of Paleo and here are my thoughts. Holy shit I would kill for a cookie. Good job to me for not drinking for three whole days in a row (I stopped on Sunday so that counts.) A little caveat about drinking. Here's the thing: a friend is coming over tonight to check out my backsplash but mostly (because how long can admiring my backsplash take?) to have a glass of wine and chat. What can I do but enjoy her company and a cup o' vino? One thing I am not is a bad hostess!
More thoughts about Paleo: I'm feeling pretty good and I'm down 3 lbs. My jeans still don't fit but I'm happy to see this number on the scale again. Another digression: isn't it weird how those numbers on the scale, on the way up, are just so fucking depressing but on the way back down are cause for celebration! Man, are we f-ed up!!!
I can't think of any more Paleo thoughts right now.
Rock on Friends! (and "friends")
