Watched a story on CrossFit on '60 Minutes' last night. All the cross fitters are Paleo. Decided to do a 30 Day Paleo challenge. I have got to do something about my weight or I'm going to have to buy all new jeans. Invested $35 dollars for this food program instead of a new wardrobe so I'm IN! (Though a new wardrobe would be a fun reward for weight loss!) Began 'PaleoRestart' (ironic because I never actually ever started Paleo to have to restart it!) this morning with a spinach and mini-pepper omelet. Not exactly what they recommended for breakfast but a good start. I miss sugar aka: ketchup (don't judge). The grocery store is on my list today. I think I'm hungry already.
Exercise. The program only recommends adding an hour of activity a week, unless you already exercise then you should just add more activity to your day. Well....I exercise five days a week but generally sit on my butt for way too many hours a day. I'll give it a try.
Dave is home "celebrating" Roshashana. Oy! We are going for a 20 mile bike ride. The weeds in our yard are screaming to be pulled - that'll be active. And I really should sanitize those poopy floors. Sigh.
